1. Who We Are
Me Gusta Sucre is a Bolivian city brand blending education, gastronomy, and hospitality in the heart of Sucre's historic center. Our main hub is Me Gusta Spanish School, with two sister brands completing the experience:
- Me Gusta Spanish School — our heart, at Audiencia #97, with 20+ years connecting people through Spanish
- Me Gusta Sucre Inn — boutique colonial hostel at La Paz #571
- Me Gusta Café — specialty coffee shop at Bolivar #603
2. Reservations & Payments
- Reservations are confirmed subject to availability — we'll always let you know promptly.
- Payment is due upon arrival: cash, bank transfer, or credit card.
- Prices are in Bolivianos (Bs) with approximate USD equivalents for reference.
- Prices may vary seasonally — we're always transparent about what you'll pay.
3. Cancellation Policy
- Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your check-in — no questions asked.
- Within 48 hours: one night's charge applies.
- No-shows are charged one night's rate.
- Early departures are not refunded, but we'll always try to find a solution together.
4. Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-in: from 2:00 PM — the room will be ready and so will we.
- Check-out: by 12:00 PM
- Early check-in or late check-out? Just ask — we'll do our best to accommodate you.
- Free luggage storage on arrival or departure day, always.
5. Community & Respect
Me Gusta Sucre is built on the idea of genuine community — between travelers, locals, and our team. We ask all guests to treat each other, our staff, and our spaces with the same warmth. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. If any guest's behavior is harmful or disruptive, we reserve the right to end their stay without refund.
6. Our WhatsApp AI Assistant
Our WhatsApp is sometimes handled by a friendly AI assistant — especially at night when the team is resting. It knows a lot about us, but it's not perfect. For confirmed bookings or anything urgent, just ask to speak with a real person and we'll be there. Responses from the assistant are helpful guidance, not binding commitments.
7. Spanish School
- Classes are scheduled based on teacher availability and student needs.
- Please cancel at least 24 hours in advance so we can reorganize properly.
- Hostel discounts for school students apply only to currently enrolled Me Gusta Spanish School students.
8. Our Responsibility
We take care of our spaces and our guests as best we can. That said, Me Gusta Sucre is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. We're also not liable for events outside our control — weather, transportation disruptions, and similar circumstances. We'll always communicate openly and try to find the best solution for you.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Plurinational State of Bolivia. Any disputes are handled in the courts of Sucre, Bolivia — our home.

1. Quiénes somos
Me Gusta Sucre es una marca ciudad boliviana que fusiona educación, gastronomía y hospedaje en el corazón histórico de Sucre. Nuestra sede central es Me Gusta Spanish School, con dos marcas hermanas que completan la experiencia:
- Me Gusta Spanish School — nuestro corazón, en Audiencia #97, con más de 20 años conectando personas a través del español
- Me Gusta Sucre Inn — hostal boutique colonial en La Paz #571
- Me Gusta Café — cafetería de especialidad en Bolivar #603
2. Reservas y pagos
- Las reservas se confirman sujetas a disponibilidad — siempre te avisamos de inmediato.
- El pago se realiza al llegar: efectivo, transferencia bancaria o tarjeta de crédito.
- Los precios están en bolivianos (Bs) con equivalentes aproximados en USD como referencia.
- Los precios pueden variar según la temporada — siempre seremos transparentes con lo que pagarás.
3. Política de cancelación
- Cancelación gratuita hasta 48 horas antes de tu check-in — sin preguntas.
- Dentro de las 48 horas: se aplica el cargo de una noche.
- La no presentación (no-show) tiene un cargo de una noche.
- Las salidas anticipadas no son reembolsables, pero siempre buscamos una solución juntos.
4. Check-in y Check-out
- Check-in: desde las 14:00 — la habitación estará lista y nosotros también.
- Check-out: hasta las 12:00
- ¿Necesitas llegar antes o salir después? Pregunta nomás — haremos lo posible.
- Guardado de equipaje gratuito el día de llegada o salida, siempre.
5. Comunidad y respeto
Me Gusta Sucre se construye sobre la idea de comunidad genuina — entre viajeros, locales y nuestro equipo. Pedimos a todos los huéspedes que traten a los demás, al personal y a nuestros espacios con la misma calidez. El horario de silencio es de 22:00 a 08:00. Si la conducta de algún huésped es dañina o disruptiva, nos reservamos el derecho de finalizar su estadía sin reembolso.
6. Nuestro asistente de IA por WhatsApp
A veces nuestro WhatsApp es atendido por un asistente de IA amigable — especialmente de noche cuando el equipo descansa. Conoce mucho sobre nosotros, pero no es perfecto. Para reservas confirmadas o algo urgente, pide hablar con una persona real y estaremos ahí. Las respuestas del asistente son orientativas, no compromisos vinculantes.
7. Escuela de Español
- Las clases se programan según disponibilidad de profesores y necesidades del estudiante.
- Por favor cancela con al menos 24 horas de anticipación para que podamos reorganizarnos.
- Los descuentos en el hostal para estudiantes aplican solo a matriculados vigentes de Me Gusta Spanish School.
8. Nuestra responsabilidad
Cuidamos nuestros espacios y a nuestros huéspedes lo mejor que podemos. Dicho eso, Me Gusta Sucre no se responsabiliza por objetos personales perdidos, robados o dañados. Tampoco somos responsables por eventos fuera de nuestro control — clima, interrupciones de transporte y situaciones similares. Siempre comunicaremos con apertura y buscaremos la mejor solución para ti.
9. Ley aplicable
Estos Términos se rigen por las leyes del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia. Cualquier disputa se resuelve en los tribunales de Sucre, Bolivia — nuestro hogar.
